AdMoment is a mobile advertising platform built specifically for the mobile ecosystem where apps dominate consumer activity. Since there are no cookies available in apps, it is not possible to track a consumer the way it is done in browser-based internet activities.

Luckily however, every request for an ad impression comes with a rich set of data that we can work with. It allows us to target your ad based on a specific situation, the ad moment instead of on the previous behavior of a user. For example, our platform can understand from time and location that a consumer is at a specific concert or sport event.

How does it work?

We believe in data. That is why we measure everything that we can. On the first day of your campaign, we will distribute your more or less randomly. This might not sound very efficient but it necessary to identify all parameters that help to identify the value which match your target group. In other word, we make sure that we look for travel-loving consumers not only in airports where they might be most obvious.

The parameters we look at in our data include:

  • Geographic location
  • Time of the day and day of the week
  • Mobile device type, manufacturer and model
  • Operating system
  • Weather
  • Traffic
  • Service provider

After this first day of testing, we run our algorithms and let them identify those combinations of value for these parameters that are most likely to identify a consumer which fits your desired target group.

The more data we collect, the more precise and accurate the pattern detection becomes. If you want to optimize a campaign towards app downloads for example, a minimum number of about 1000 installs is required for our algorithms to produce a significant and sustainable boost in your performance and thus a reduction in the cost per install.

Data-driven targeting does not only increase your performance but also reduces your campaign management effort. Instead of manually selecting and testing the right targeting criteria, you can rely on our algorithms to do the job for you. Of course you should keep a close eye on them in our daily reports which tell your everything about:

  • The number of impressions
  • The number of clicks
  • The cost per click
  • The number of actions, e.g. a download or a call
  • The cost per action

Furthermore we can provide you with more detailed data for example if you want to see which banner works best or which landing page has the highest conversion rate.
